About Brand Traceability

Our
Story

Trpopo started out making jewelry for big brands, selling to North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. We saw items being sold in stores for up to ten times the original price. Consumers shouldn't have to pay for high premiums, so we founded the Trpopo brand to create bold, personal, affordable, and sophisticated jewelry.

TRPOPO is where baroque splendor meets everyday power. Since our founding in 2012, we’ve been on a mission to reinvent the timeless baroque aesthetic—creating jewellery that is both bold and ingenious. Whether it’s hand-carving motifs inspired by 17th century art or selecting ethically sourced gemstones that honour heritage and the planet, we strive to blend luxury with meaning.

Our designs are more than just decorative objects; they’re a statement of individuality, a legacy, and a beauty that can withstand the test of ever-changing trends. Each piece, with its sinuous silhouettes and radiant details, reminds us that luxury can last—from pure handcraft to extraordinary glamour. Wear TRPOPO to bring the confidence and luxury of the baroque to your everyday life: more than an accessory, it celebrates your unique brilliance.

Brand founder - Serena Vienne

Serena Vienne--Celebrating the glory of women

A visionary jewelry designer inspired by the baroque pearl’s raw, untamed allure, Serena transforms nature’s imperfect masterpieces into wearable narratives—"personal emblems" that celebrate the beauty of being unapologetically you. Her designs eschew uniformity, embracing each pearl’s unique contours, asymmetrical luster, and organic textures, which she frames with meticulously handcrafted metalwork—think delicate filigree or bold, modernist motifs—that echo the pearl’s own story of creation. Every piece is a testament to individuality: no two baroque pearls are alike, just as no two wearers share the same journey.

Serena’s philosophy is rooted in craftsmanship with purpose: ethically sourced freshwater pearls, conflict-free metals, and artisanal techniques that honor both the earth and the artisans behind them. Her work bridges eras—channeling the opulence of Renaissance pearl lore while speaking to the modern woman’s desire for meaning and everyday empowerment. From gracing the ballrooms of Gossip Girl to becoming the iconic "C" necklace in The Carrie Diaries (a symbol of self-discovery for Carrie Bradshaw), her designs have also adorned stars like Ariana Grande, who wears them to blend red-carpet glamour with personal authenticity.

For Serena, baroque pearls are more than jewels—they are rebellious whispers of self-expression. Their irregular edges? A rejection of conformity. Their iridescent glow? A mirror to the soul. Wear a Serena Vienne piece, and let nature’s most unconventional gem become your signature: a reminder that true beauty lies not in perfection, but in the courage to wear your story—unpolished, unfiltered, uniquely yours.

Nature is art

TRPOPO is very strict in selecting Baroque freshwater pearls. Each pearl is collected from the ecological waters of nature. The pure water quality and mild climate provide an ideal environment for the growth of pearls. Designers strictly select pearls by hand according to three major standards: the first is the shape, preferring unique contours such as water drops and flames, and refusing any artificial polishing and reshaping; the second is the luster, only pearls with soft iridescence and silky luster under natural light can be selected; the third is the core source, ensuring that all pearls come from sustainable farming, eliminating chemical intervention, and making each pearl's natural "flaws" a unique symbol of personality.

Brilliant awakening within 0.01 mm

In TRPOPO's jewelry workshop, every polishing is a dialogue with perfection. The craftsman holds the precision electric drill with a trembling blue light in his left hand, and gently pinches the ring inlaid with rich purple gems with his right hand. With the precise control of 0.01 mm, every texture of the metal tray and the inlay angle of each broken diamond are repeatedly carved. This is not only a process of removing defects, but also a ritual to awaken the vitality of jewelry - the metal loses its roughness under the drill bit, revealing a silky luster, and the fire of the gem becomes more and more dazzling with delicate polishing. From rough to finished product, each ring has to go through 32 polishing processes. As the craftsman said: "Only when every touch between the tool and the jewelry is awe-inspiring can the work stand the gaze of time."
